The City of Branson, Missouri is seeking a Senior Planner to join the Planning & Development Department. This position performs advanced professional planning work and helps coordinate the activities of the Planning Division, including development review, staff reports, public presentations, code amendments, long-range planning, urban design, inspections, and applicant coordination. The Senior Planner plays a key role in supporting thoughtful growth and development in one of Missouri’s most unique tourism-driven communities. Branson’s planning environment offers a wide variety of work, including complex development applications, redevelopment, zoning, public engagement, and implementation of the City’s comprehensive planning goals. Candidates should have strong communication, project management, code interpretation, and public presentation skills, along with experience in planning, urban design, or a closely related field.
