Under the general supervision of the Director of Planning, the Planner performs a variety of duties related to both current and long range planning activities and projects. Assignments include making presentations to various boards and committees, working with the general public, developers and land owners, and providing technical review and analysis on applications, permits and development proposals.
Prepares technical reports and makes presentations, including discussions with policy alternatives and recommended course of action, to the Architectural Review Board, Planning Commission, Board of Adjustment, and Planning and Public Works Committee.
