City of Ballwin, MO is seeking to hire a City Planner/Assistant to the City Administrator. Duties include professional planning for both current & long-range projects. Reviews plans and explains policy/regulations to the public. Assists the public in achieving expressed development goals. Serves as staff liaison to the P & Z Commission.
Position reports directly to the City Administrator and assists the in carrying out daily administrative duties, conducting research, dealing with organization and managerial issues as they affect the City of Ballwin, and supervising planning and zoning matters.
Bachelor’s in Urban Planning/Public Administration or a related field required. Master’s Degree preferred. Minimum of 3 years of related experience preferred.
