Overview

Mercy Virtual is transforming health care 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year by creating new care models supported by telehealth teams and technology. Patients no longer have to physically seek out care or entirely reorient their lives to gain access to specialists. Virtual technology brings care to them. http://www.mercyvirtual.net/about/

A Mercy Virtual representative will take the group on a tour of the Virtual Care Center, the first and only facility of its kind. The four-story, 125,000 square-foot building is the cornerstone of Mercy’s virtual care program, and serves as a nationally recognized center for developing and delivering telehealth.

Emily Fultz and Scott Hanson will lead a Q and A session to discuss what the implications of telehealth are and how it affects communities, aging in place, and other planning-related issues.
