When it comes to public engagement, flexibility is the name of the game. The Renew Jordan Creek project in downtown Springfield was developed successfully after the public participation process was adapted to fit the needs of the community. The resulting process was exclusively virtual and used a combination of familiar online platforms in new ways to achieve robust public participation.
